Home Care questions
Is a Home Health Check the same as a home inspection?
No. A Home Health Check is a systematic, visual maintenance review focused on how your home is holding up and what needs attention next. It is not a full home inspection and does not replace an evaluation by a licensed contractor. If you're buying or selling, or need an insurance inspection, ProLayer offers those separately.
Does ProLayer repair what it finds?
ProLayer performs certain maintenance services directly where permitted. When a finding needs licensed work, such as electrical, plumbing, HVAC or roofing, we help you connect with an appropriately licensed independent professional.
What do I receive after a visit?
A digital Home Health Report with a clear status for each area (Good, Maintenance Recommended or Action Required), photos where helpful, and updates to your Home Profile.
Do I need to be home?
For the first visit, we recommend it so we can walk through the home together. After that, many members arrange access so visits happen without disrupting their day.
